• Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel or reschedule a service, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may result in a cancellation fee.

5. Liability

While we take great care with your belongings, Nokomis Movers is not liable for any damages to items that are not properly packed or that are beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, accidents during transit, etc.).

• Limitations of Liability: Our liability for damages or loss to goods during the moving process is limited to the extent permitted by law. We strongly recommend that you purchase moving insurance to cover potential damages or losses.

• Insurance: We provide basic insurance coverage as part of our moving services. You can opt for additional insurance coverage for higher value items if needed. This must be requested and agreed upon at the time of booking.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

• Provide clear instructions and a safe environment for the moving process.
• Ensure all items to be moved are packed appropriately or request our packing services.
• Inform us of any hazardous materials or special handling items prior to moving.
• Be available at the designated time and location for the moving service.

7. Prohibited Items

Certain items are prohibited for transport by Nokomis Movers, including, but not limited to:

• Flammable materials (e.g., gasoline, paint, propane tanks).
• Perishable items (e.g., food, plants).
• Valuable items (e.g., jewelry, cash, artwork) unless insured through our additional insurance policy.
• Hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, explosives, fireworks).

We are not responsible for any prohibited items that are included in your inventory or packed by you.

8. Delivery and Storage

• Storage: If you request storage services, we provide safe and secure facilities for the duration of your storage needs. Storage terms are outlined in the storage agreement, and additional fees apply based on the length of time your items are stored.

• Delivery: Delivery of goods will be made to the agreed location and within the specified timeframe. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

• Unpacking: Unpacking services are available at an additional cost. Clients must notify us in advance if they wish to utilize this service.

9. Privacy and Data Security

Your privacy is important to us. We collect personal information (e.g., name, address, email, and payment information) solely to provide you with our services. We do not sell or share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
